January 7 – 10

Science – We are learning about habitats and how they are an important part of the environment.  We will be studying what plants and animals need in order to survive.  Also, we will learn about what can happen when one thing changes in the environment.

**Share Fair:  Your child’s rough draft (hand-written) is due January 27th!**

Social Studies – We are learning about the colonization of Louisiana.  We are studying the groups of people who came to our land to help it become the state it is today.  We are focused on some big vocabulary words – contribute and development.  Check with your child about what these words mean.  They should have notes in their blue notebook on 1/8/20 about contribute and development.
